"text": "Tukwila adds an important workplace perspective to our King County crash study.\n\nCensus LODES records 42,504 workplace primary jobs and 10,044 resident-held primary jobs in 2023: a 4.2-to-1 balance. Those home/work relationships help us understand the city's role as an employment destination.\n\nThe road data matters too: 69.9% of Tukwila's reported crashes in 2023 were coded State Route.\n\nOur expanded Seattle-Bellevue-Tukwila example joins ACS resident and commute estimates, LODES jobs, WSDOT crashes, dated traffic volumes and local conditions. The attached carousel shows the findings, maps and research process; sources, margins of error and join audits stay with the evidence.\n\nNext question: which roads, crossing movements and times of day deserve closer measurement?\n\nDeveloped with TrendSights at CloudRaven Labs, with human review throughout.\n\nCrashes: 2020-2024; increase focus: 2021-2023. ACS: 2020-2024; LODES: 2023. Exploratory counts, not adjusted for travel exposure.",
